Came across a few videos that show what the iPhone 5 will be capable of doing to make life a hell of a lot simpler in so many different ways.  The news just came out that it will come with a technology called “Near-Field Communication”.  A very scary thing to some, but also out of control useful for others.

1.  YOUR iPHONE IS YOUR TICKET (PASSBOOK APP)

 

 
All your tickets, boarding passes, and coupons become easily accessible and live all with the power of the new iOS in the iPhone 5.  If you travel, shop, or go to a lot of events, this an app that will dazzle you.

2.  YOUR iPHONE IS YOUR WALLET

 

 
It might not be the newest technology to pay for something with your smart phone, but when you start to see things like this vending machine in Japan popping up everywhere, be prepared. You’re going to need the latest technology in order to access things that you want.  This is just a quick example.  This is probably the scariest feature in my opinion.
 

3.  YOUR iPHONE IS YOUR KEYS

 

 
Lexus and BMW are already on it.  There’s no more rotating keys.  It’s all about the NFC antenna in those vehicles.  How long until it becomes a trend to get in your house, car, and any other place that you go?

In my opinion these 3 features show where the world is going.  Everybody wants a simpler life, and the easiest way to do that is through one device.  But the question still remains, is this a good or bad thing for the human race as a society?
